The Alex Goot Experience - Round 2
I was waiting in line for the VIP photos nd I see Johnny mouthing my name so I waved at him and slowly walked over to him. I told him that I had a gift and gave him a little Darth Vader toy. He said he loved it and later posted a picture of it on Instagram saying something along the lines of “one of my many favorite gifts I’ve received on tour so far!” then we hugged.
I went back to the line and it was my turn to get a picture taken with Alex. I slowly walk towards him and he goes “Shayla!” so I reply with “Alex!”
*we hug*
Alex: How was the drive here?
Me: Good. It was six hours..
Alex: Well… worth it.
Me: Definitely.
Alex: Ah so come stand on the X with me. Let’s do a funny face.
Ok wait hold on, I’m definitely not putting bunny ears on you.
Me: Hahaha you’re definitely not
Alex: Nah, I would never do that!
Ok a serious one. Happy face!
We go over to the tiny table and I said “I have a gift for you.” so I gave him a little Yoda toy that talks. I told him that he needed to smack it for it to talk and he starts smacking Yoda in the face and said “Like this?”.
Then he says “I have a gift for you too!” and proceeds to hand me an all access pass! “Yeah, it was designed by Chad.” “That’s great! Thank you!” “Yup.” He signs both my laminates and when he was signing my poster, he said “you’re the first person where I didn’t have to ask them what their name is. Enjoy the show!”
Later I find out that Alex and Johnny were having Vader vs Yoda duels with my gifts.
Up first was Tidewater, then Chad.
After Chad was Luke, then Julia and Corey.
And then it was Alex’s turn! Ahhhhh!
During the show, Alex made eye contact with me at least 8 times per song, not joking.
Below is Luke holding Yoda and Vader before the encore.
SO WHEN HE WAS GOING ON STAGE FOR THE ENCORE, CHAD BROUGHT THE DARTH VADER AND YODA TOY OUT AND PUT IT ON HIS PIANO SO HE TOOK MY GIFTS AND PUT THEM ON HIS PIANO AND PLAYED ALL OF THE ENCORE SONGS WITH THEM ON THERE AHHH. :)
He kept looking down at me as he was telling everyone that he was putting Yoda and Darth on his piano which gave me the cheesiest smile on my face.
After the show, I met Chad and he’s so sweet and gives the greatest hugs! <3
After that, I asked Johnny for a picture. He looks like my brother!!!
BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE.
Haha aw, normally, things like this would make me really jealous, but I smiled through the whole thing because you really are the definition of a #1/really great fan, and you’re just awesome. :)
